Pharmaceutical Chemist

Perform chemical analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished pharmaceutical products.

Conduct qualitative and quantitative testing using approved methods.

Prepare reagents, solutions, standards, and samples.

Operate and maintain laboratory instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, and pH meters as applicable.

Review and document analytical test results accurately.

Perform routine laboratory quality-control checks.

Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) and out-of-trend (OOT) results according to approved procedures.

Maintain laboratory notebooks, worksheets, and analytical records.

Follow SOPs, GMP, GLP, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Ensure proper handling, labeling, storage, and disposal of chemicals and samples.

Assist in method validation, verification, and analytical method development when required.

Support audits, inspections, and continuous laboratory improvement activities.
