Patient Care Assistant

Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility.

Help patients move safely between beds, wheelchairs, and other areas as instructed.

Monitor and report changes in the patient's condition to nurses or healthcare professionals.

Check basic vital signs such as temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation when trained and authorized.

Maintain patient rooms, beds, and surrounding areas in a clean and hygienic condition.

Assist with changing bed linens and maintaining patient-care supplies.

Support nurses and doctors during routine patient-care activities.

Assist patients with meals and ensure dietary instructions are followed as directed.

Maintain accurate basic patient-care records and documentation.

Follow infection-control, PPE, hygiene, and workplace-safety procedures.

Handle and dispose of healthcare waste according to facility protocols.

Provide respectful emotional and practical support to patients and their families.

Report emergencies, falls, injuries, or sudden changes in patient condition immediately.

Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.

Follow hospital SOPs and instructions from nursing and medical staff.
