Packing Supervisor

Supervise daily packing and packaging activities.

Allocate work to packing operators and helpers.

Ensure packing targets and production schedules are achieved.

Monitor packing machines, equipment, and production lines.

Check product quantity, weight, sealing, labeling, and packaging quality.

Verify batch numbers, manufacturing dates, expiry dates, and other required information where applicable.

Ensure availability and proper utilization of packaging materials.

Maintain packing records, shift reports, checklists, and production documentation.

Coordinate with Production, Quality, Warehouse, Maintenance, and Dispatch teams.

Identify packaging defects, machine issues, material shortages, and production delays.

Take corrective action and report major issues to management.

Minimize packaging material wastage, rejection, and product damage.

Ensure proper housekeeping, hygiene, 5S, and workplace safety in the packing area.

Train and guide packing staff on SOPs, quality requirements, and safety procedures.

Support machine cleaning, changeovers, and routine maintenance activities.

Ensure finished goods are properly packed, labeled, stored, and transferred to dispatch.

Prepare daily and weekly packing performance reports.
