Packaging Operator

Operate packaging machines and equipment according to approved SOPs.

Set up and adjust packaging machines for different products and pack sizes.

Load packaging materials such as bottles, pouches, cartons, labels, and containers.

Monitor machine performance and packaging output during production.

Check product quantity, weight, sealing, filling, and packaging quality.

Verify labels, batch numbers, manufacturing dates, expiry dates, and other printed information.

Perform visual inspection of packaged products and segregate defective units.

Maintain packaging records, machine logbooks, and production reports.

Follow GMP, SOP, hygiene, safety, and quality procedures as applicable.

Maintain cleanliness of packaging machines and work areas.

Identify machine faults and report breakdowns to the maintenance/supervisory team.

Minimize packaging-material wastage and production downtime.

Perform basic cleaning and routine maintenance of packaging equipment.

Coordinate with Production, Quality Control, Warehouse, and Maintenance teams.

Follow proper handling and storage procedures for finished products and packaging materials.
