Mason (Skilled Trades)

Lay bricks, blocks, stones, and other construction materials according to project requirements.

Prepare and apply cement, mortar, concrete, and plaster mixtures.

Construct and repair walls, partitions, foundations, and other masonry structures.

Measure, mark, and cut construction materials to the required dimensions.

Read and follow construction drawings, plans, and measurements.

Perform plastering, pointing, grouting, and surface finishing.

Repair cracks, damaged walls, and other masonry defects.

Inspect completed work to ensure quality, alignment, and structural accuracy.

Operate and maintain masonry tools and equipment safely.

Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other construction workers.

Maintain cleanliness and organization at the worksite.

Follow occupational health and safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
