Industrial Electrician

Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical equipment and systems.

Troubleshoot electrical faults in machines, motors, control panels, and wiring.

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment.

Inspect electrical systems, cables, switches, breakers, and connections.

Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and circuit diagrams.

Maintain and troubleshoot motors, starters, contactors, relays, MCC panels, and distribution boards.

Assist with installation and commissioning of new electrical machinery.

Test electrical circuits and equipment using appropriate measuring instruments.

Maintain electrical maintenance records, logbooks, and service reports.

Respond to electrical breakdowns and minimize machine downtime.

Ensure proper earthing, insulation, and electrical safety systems.

Follow LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), PPE, electrical safety, and workplace safety procedures.

Coordinate with production and maintenance teams during machine breakdowns.

Maintain electrical tools, spare parts, and equipment inventory.

Support periodic inspections and preventive-maintenance schedules.
