Housekeeping Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Team Supervision: Assign daily tasks, schedule shifts, and oversee housekeeping staff to ensure efficient performance.

• Quality Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of rooms, common areas, restrooms, and operational facilities to ensure adherence to cleanliness standards.

• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies, chemicals, linens, and equipment; reorder items as needed.

• Staff Training: Train new and existing staff on cleaning protocols, equipment operation, safety regulations, and customer service.

• Issue Resolution: Handle guest or client complaints regarding cleanliness promptly and coordinate with maintenance for minor repairs.

• Compliance & Safety: Enforce health, hygiene, and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning agents and equipment.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Standard 12th pass minimum; Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management/Hospitality is preferred.

• Experience: 2–4 years of experience in housekeeping operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team-lead role.

• Skills: Strong leadership, communication, time management, and problem-solving abilities.

• Knowledge: Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, industrial sanitation equipment, and health & safety standards.

Salary & Compensation Structure

• Base Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹25,000 per month (commensurate with experience and scale of operation)

• Variable / Additional Allowances:

  • Overtime Pay: Paid for working beyond regular shift hours.

  • Night Shift / Outstation Allowance: Provided if applicable to specific shift requirements.
