Household Shifting Helper

Key Responsibilities

• Packing & Unpacking: Wrap, pack, and label household goods, delicate glassware, electronics, and furniture using appropriate protective materials (bubble wrap, corrugated boxes, stretch film).

• Loading & Unloading: Heavy lifting and carrying of furniture, appliances, and packed boxes to and from moving trucks safely.

• Furniture Dismantling & Assembly: Assist in dismantling basic furniture (beds, tables, wardrobes) for transit and reassembling them at the destination.

• Vehicle Loading Management: Stack and arrange items securely inside the moving vehicle to prevent damage or shifting during transit.

• Site Maintenance: Clean up packing waste and debris at both origin and destination locations after completion of the job.

• Safety & Care: Handle client belongings with extreme care and adhere strictly to safety guidelines during heavy lifting.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: No formal education required (8th or 10th pass preferred).

• Physical Fitness: Strong physical stamina, ability to lift heavy loads (up to 30–50 kg), and capacity to work long hours on site.

• Experience: Prior experience with packers & movers, logistics, or general warehouse loading is a plus, but freshers are welcome.

• Skills: Good teamwork, punctuality, reliable attitude, and ability to follow verbal instructions accurately.

Salary & Compensation Structure

• Base Salary: ₹12,000 – ₹16,000 per month (depending on experience and physical capability)

• Variable / Additional Allowances:

  • Overtime Pay: Provided for work extending beyond standard shift hours.

  • Daily / Outstation Allowance: ₹150 – ₹300 per day for long-distance or outstation relocation trips.

  • Tips & Performance Incentive: Performance-based monthly incentive based on client feedback and zero-damage delivery.
