Facility Cleaner

Key Responsibilities

• Comprehensive Cleaning: Sweep, mop, scrub, vacuum, and wax floors across lobbies, offices, corridors, stairwells, and mechanical rooms.

• Restroom & Locker Room Sanitation: Disinfect toilets, urinals, sinks, countertops, and mirrors; sanitize high-touch fixtures and replenish stock (hand soap, paper towels, toilet paper).

• Trash & Recyclables Management: Collect and empty waste receptacles, sorting recyclables and transferring waste to designated dumpster areas while replacing bin liners.

• Surface & Glass Maintenance: Dust furniture, light fixtures, air vents, window sills, and partition walls; clean interior glass panels and entrance doors.

• Equipment & Supply Operation: Safely operate industrial cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, automatic scrubbers, pressure washers, and commercial vacuums; maintain equipment in clean working condition.

• Chemical Safety & Compliance: Mix and use specialized cleaning chemicals and disinfectants according to safety guidelines (OSHA / SDS protocols), wearing mandatory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

• Hazard & Maintenance Reporting: Identify and report structural issues, plumbing leaks, broken light fixtures, or safety hazards to the facility manager immediately.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: High school completion or equivalent (prior facility cleaning training is a plus).

• Experience: 1–3 years of experience in janitorial work, commercial facility cleaning, institutional housekeeping, or building maintenance.

• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of chemical dilution ratios, surface care (marble, tile, carpet, hardwood), and floor care machinery operations.

• Physical Stamina: Physical capability to lift up to 20–25 kg, stand, walk, bend, kneel, and operate heavy floor machinery for extended periods.

• Soft Skills: Punctuality, attention to detail, reliability, ability to work night or weekend shifts, and capability to follow safety instructions independently.
