Fabrication Engineer

Plan and coordinate day-to-day fabrication activities.

Interpret engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, and technical specifications.

Prepare fabrication plans, work instructions, and material requirements.

Supervise cutting, bending, drilling, fitting, welding, and assembly operations.

Ensure fabricated components meet required dimensions, tolerances, and specifications.

Coordinate with welders, fitters, fabricators, production teams, and subcontractors.

Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of fabrication work.

Inspect raw materials and fabricated components for quality and dimensional accuracy.

Identify fabrication defects and coordinate corrective actions.

Support welding inspections, testing, and quality-control activities.

Maintain fabrication records, inspection reports, and production documentation.

Coordinate with Quality, Design, Procurement, Production, and Maintenance teams.

Monitor material usage and minimize scrap and fabrication wastage.

Ensure proper use and maintenance of fabrication machinery and tools.

Follow WPS, welding standards, PPE, workplace safety, and quality procedures.

Troubleshoot fabrication and production problems and implement process improvements.
