Event Security Staff

Position Title: Event Security Staff / Event Security Officer

Job Type: Part-Time / Seasonal / Contract / Event-Based

Reports To: Event Security Supervisor / Operations Manager

Access Control & Screening: Monitor entry/exit points, verify guest passes/tickets, conduct bag checks or metal detector wanding, and prevent unauthorized access or prohibited items from entering the venue.

Crowd Management: Direct foot traffic, maintain clear emergency aisles, oversee queue lines, and monitor crowd dynamics to prevent overcrowding or bottlenecks.

Patrol & Surveillance: Perform regular walking patrols across venue perimeters, seating areas, VIP lounges, and backstage zones to identify suspicious activity, hazards, or policy violations.

De-escalation & Conflict Resolution: Identify disruptive behavior early and diffuse conflicts using clear, professional communication and calm de-escalation techniques.

Emergency Response: Assist in emergency evacuations (fire, medical incidents, extreme weather), direct attendees to safe exits, and coordinate with local emergency services or venue medics when needed.

Guest Assistance & Service: Provide friendly assistance to attendees by answering basic venue questions, giving directions, and assisting lost individuals.
