Clinical Lab Manager

Manage daily operations of the clinical laboratory.

Supervise and coordinate laboratory technicians, technologists, and support staff.

Ensure accurate, timely, and reliable processing of patient samples.

Monitor laboratory testing procedures and workflow.

Ensure proper sample collection, identification, processing, storage, and disposal.

Implement and maintain SOPs, quality control procedures, and laboratory safety standards.

Monitor internal quality control and participate in external quality-assurance programs.

Ensure proper calibration, maintenance, and functioning of laboratory equipment.

Review laboratory test results and documentation as per organizational procedures.

Investigate errors, non-conformities, and quality issues and implement corrective actions.

Maintain laboratory records, reports, inventory, and compliance documentation.

Manage laboratory reagents, consumables, and inventory levels.

Coordinate with doctors, nurses, hospital departments, and other healthcare professionals.

Ensure compliance with applicable laboratory, infection-control, and biosafety requirements.

Train and evaluate laboratory staff on procedures, safety, and quality practices.

Prepare operational reports and support audits and inspections.
