Clinical Biochemist

Perform biochemical and clinical laboratory tests on patient samples such as blood, serum, plasma, and urine.

Analyze parameters including glucose, liver function, kidney function, lipid profile, electrolytes, enzymes, and proteins.

Operate and maintain automated biochemical analyzers and laboratory equipment.

Ensure accuracy, reliability, and timely reporting of test results.

Perform internal quality control and monitor QC results.

Identify abnormal or inconsistent results and perform necessary verification.

Follow laboratory SOPs, safety guidelines, and quality standards.

Maintain proper records of samples, test results, QC data, and laboratory activities.

Calibrate and perform routine maintenance of laboratory instruments.

Coordinate with doctors, pathologists, technicians, and other laboratory staff when required.

Assist in troubleshooting instrument or testing-related problems.

Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of clinical samples and laboratory waste.

Maintain confidentiality of patient information and laboratory reports.
