Clinical Biochemist

Perform biochemical tests on blood, urine, serum, plasma, and other clinical samples.

Operate and monitor automated and semi-automated analyzers.

Prepare reagents, calibrators, and quality-control materials.

Review and validate test results before reporting.

Monitor internal quality control and investigate abnormal QC results.

Perform calibration and routine maintenance of laboratory equipment.

Follow SOPs, laboratory safety, GLP, and applicable quality standards.

Identify critical or abnormal results and communicate them through established procedures.

Maintain accurate laboratory records and test documentation.

Assist in troubleshooting instrument and testing problems.

Monitor reagent and consumable inventory.

Support internal and external quality assessments and laboratory audits.

Coordinate with laboratory technicians, clinicians, and other departments.
