Android Developer

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Android Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality Android applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Android development, programming fundamentals, and mobile application best practices. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from home while collaborating with the development team online.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Android applications.
• Build user-friendly and responsive mobile application interfaces.
• Write clean, reusable, and efficient code using Kotlin or Java.
• Integrate REST APIs and third-party libraries.
• Work with Android SDK, Android Studio, and Gradle.
• Debug applications, fix bugs, and improve performance.
• Test applications to ensure quality and reliability.
• Collaborate remotely with designers, backend developers, and project managers.
• Participate in online meetings, code reviews, and project discussions.
• Keep up to date with the latest Android technologies and development trends.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of Kotlin and/or Java.
• Experience with Android Studio and Android SDK.
• Understanding of XML layouts and Android UI development.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and HTTP requests.
• Familiarity with Git and version control.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP).
• Knowledge of debugging, testing, and application optimization.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Jetpack Compose.
• Knowledge of MVVM architecture.
• Familiarity with Room Database, Retrofit, and Coroutines.
• Understanding of Firebase services.
• Experience publishing applications on the Google Play Store.
