Agriculture runs deep in Tripura. It's stitched into the economy in a way few other sectors are, and Agartala sits right at the center of the agro-processing and government farming push.

• Soil scientists and cold chain logistics staff, the more specialized end

The state's been betting hard on rubber, pineapple, and tea, and that bet has created steady demand for agronomists and field supervisors. Then there's the newer layer: agro-tech startups poking around precision farming and e-NAM integration. Still early days for them. Most roles here want an agriculture degree or diploma, but I'll say this, ITI-trained technicians are getting more love lately, especially for farm equipment maintenance. That shift is worth watching.
