Job Description
Manage daily workshop operations and allocate work to technicians.
Supervise, train, and motivate workshop employees.
Plan and monitor repair, maintenance, servicing, and fabrication activities.
Ensure jobs are completed on time and according to quality standards.
Inspect completed work and ensure proper safety and technical procedures are followed.
Maintain workshop tools, machinery, equipment, and facilities.
Monitor inventory of spare parts, tools, consumables, and other materials.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for parts, equipment, and services.
Prepare job estimates, work schedules, cost reports, and operational records.
Monitor workshop expenses and control operating costs.
Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Identify equipment or process problems and implement corrective actions.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, inspections, and equipment usage.
Coordinate with customers, clients, or other departments regarding job requirements and completion status.
Implement preventive maintenance and improve workshop efficiency.
Handle customer complaints and resolve operational issues promptly.
