Waste Management Worker

Collect and transport waste from assigned residential, commercial, or public areas.

Segregate waste according to established categories and procedures.

Load and unload waste safely using appropriate tools and equipment.

Ensure waste is transported to designated collection, recycling, treatment, or disposal facilities.

Maintain cleanliness of collection areas, vehicles, and equipment.

Handle recyclable materials according to applicable procedures.

Identify and report hazardous or improperly disposed materials to supervisors.

Follow health, sanitation, environmental, and workplace safety guidelines.

Use personal protective equipment (PPE) properly at all times.

Operate basic waste-handling tools and equipment safely.

Report damaged equipment, spills, accidents, or other safety concerns promptly.

Maintain assigned work areas and complete daily collection duties on schedule.

Support recycling, sanitation, and environmental-awareness activities when required.
