Refrigerator & AC Technician

Install, service, repair, and maintain refrigerators, air conditioners, coolers, and other refrigeration equipment.

Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration-system faults.

Check compressors, condensers, evaporators, thermostats, motors, fans, sensors, and control systems.

Inspect and repair refrigerant lines, valves, connections, and other components.

Perform refrigerant charging, recovery, and leak testing using appropriate equipment and procedures.

Clean filters, coils, condensers, evaporators, and other components.

Test AC and refrigeration systems after repair or installation to ensure proper performance.

Troubleshoot electrical wiring, capacitors, relays, contactors, and control circuits.

Replace defective components, parts, wiring, and electrical connections.

Carry out preventive maintenance according to service schedules.

Maintain service records, job cards, parts-used records, and customer reports.

Explain equipment faults, repairs, and basic maintenance requirements to customers or supervisors.

Follow manufacturer instructions, workplace safety procedures, and applicable refrigerant-handling requirements.

Maintain tools, testing equipment, and work areas in good condition.

Coordinate with supervisors, customers, suppliers, and other technicians when required.

Perform emergency or breakdown service when assigned.

Perform other duties assigned by the Maintenance Manager or Supervisor.
