Job Description
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic kidney diseases.
Evaluate patients with kidney failure, hypertension, electrolyte disorders, and fluid imbalances.
Manage patients undergoing hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.
Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis procedures.
Develop individualized treatment and care plans.
Interpret laboratory tests, imaging studies, and renal function assessments.
Manage complications associated with kidney disease.
Coordinate with surgeons, urologists, cardiologists, and other specialists when required.
Educate patients and families about kidney health, treatment options, diet, and lifestyle modifications.
Maintain accurate and confidential medical records.
Participate in clinical rounds, case discussions, and multidisciplinary meetings.
Stay updated with current nephrology guidelines, treatments, and medical research.
Follow hospital policies, medical ethics, and patient-safety standards.
