Job Description
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic kidney diseases.
Evaluate patients with kidney failure, hypertension, and electrolyte or acid-base disorders.
Manage patients undergoing hemodialysis and other renal replacement therapies.
Monitor and manage patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD).
Conduct and interpret relevant diagnostic tests and laboratory investigations.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient conditions.
Coordinate with other specialists for multidisciplinary patient care.
Provide pre- and post-operative renal care for appropriate patients.
Counsel patients and families regarding kidney health, treatment options, diet, and lifestyle changes.
Maintain accurate and confidential medical records.
Participate in hospital rounds, clinical meetings, and emergency consultations.
Stay updated with current developments, guidelines, and practices in nephrology.
Follow hospital policies, clinical protocols, and patient-safety standards.
