Mason (Skilled Trades)

Construct walls, foundations, partitions, and other structures using bricks, blocks, stones, and concrete.

Mix and apply cement, mortar, plaster, and other construction materials.

Read and follow construction drawings, measurements, and specifications.

Perform bricklaying, blockwork, plastering, pointing, and finishing work.

Repair and maintain damaged masonry, walls, floors, and structures.

Measure, cut, and position construction materials accurately.

Ensure proper alignment, levels, dimensions, and surface finishes.

Operate and maintain masonry tools and equipment safely.

Inspect completed work and correct defects as required.

Follow workplace safety procedures and construction regulations.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and other skilled tradespeople.
