Maintenance Planner

Develop and maintain preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.

Plan maintenance jobs based on equipment condition, priorities, and operational requirements.

Prepare detailed job plans, work orders, task lists, and maintenance schedules.

Coordinate with maintenance supervisors, technicians, operations, stores, and procurement teams.

Ensure required manpower, tools, equipment, spare parts, and materials are available before work begins.

Review maintenance requests and prioritize work according to safety, urgency, and operational impact.

Monitor planned versus completed maintenance activities and identify delays.

Coordinate shutdown, turnaround, and major maintenance activities when required.

Maintain accurate equipment records, maintenance history, and job documentation.

Update Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) or other maintenance databases.

Track preventive maintenance compliance and overdue work orders.

Analyze equipment breakdowns, downtime, and maintenance performance data.

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance schedules and reports.

Coordinate with contractors and external service providers for maintenance activities.

Ensure maintenance plans follow safety procedures, permits, and applicable standards.

Identify opportunities to improve maintenance efficiency and reduce equipment downtime.

Support budgeting and estimation of maintenance manpower, materials, and costs.

Maintain an organized backlog of maintenance work and ensure timely closure of completed jobs.

Perform other duties assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
