Freight Coordinator

Coordinate domestic and international freight shipments. Arrange transportation with shipping lines, airlines, trucking companies, and freight forwarders. Schedule pickups, deliveries, and shipment dispatches. Prepare and verify shipping documents, invoices, packing lists, and delivery receipts. Track shipments and provide timely updates to customers and internal teams. Communicate with suppliers, carriers, customs agents, and warehouse personnel. Monitor freight costs and assist with transportation budgeting. Coordinate customs clearance and ensure required documentation is available. Resolve shipment delays, delivery issues, and transportation-related problems. Maintain accurate shipment records and logistics databases. Ensure compliance with applicable transportation regulations and company procedures. Prepare freight reports and maintain shipment status updates. Coordinate with warehouse and inventory teams to ensure timely loading and dispatch. Support freight invoice verification and payment processing. Identify opportunities to improve shipping efficiency and reduce transportation costs.
