Job Description
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and fabrication plans.
Measure, mark, cut, bend, and shape metal materials accurately.
Perform welding, grinding, drilling, and fitting activities.
Assemble metal structures, frames, equipment, and components.
Operate fabrication machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
Inspect fabricated components for dimensions, quality, and structural integrity.
Identify and correct fabrication defects or dimensional issues.
Maintain tools, machinery, and the fabrication work area.
Follow workplace safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.
Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, welders, and other skilled workers.
Maintain production records and report material or equipment issues.
Minimize material wastage while maintaining required quality standards.
