Fabricator (Skilled Trades)

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and fabrication specifications.

Measure, mark, cut, bend, and shape metal materials accurately.

Perform welding, grinding, drilling, and other fabrication activities as required.

Assemble metal components and structures according to specifications.

Operate fabrication tools, machines, and equipment safely.

Inspect fabricated components for dimensions, alignment, and quality.

Identify and correct fabrication defects and dimensional errors.

Maintain and clean fabrication tools, machinery, and work areas.

Follow workplace safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment.

Coordinate with welders, machinists, engineers, and supervisors.

Maintain production records and report material or equipment issues.

Minimize material waste while maintaining required quality standards.

Perform preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting of fabrication equipment.

Complete assigned fabrication work within required deadlines.
