Fabricator (Construction & Labor)

Read and understand basic fabrication drawings, sketches, and measurements.

Measure, mark, cut, bend, drill, and shape metal materials according to specifications.

Fabricate and assemble structural components such as frames, supports, railings, gates, brackets, and platforms.

Perform welding using appropriate welding methods and equipment.

Operate grinders, cutting machines, drilling machines, welding machines, and other fabrication tools safely.

Fit and align metal components before welding or final assembly.

Inspect fabricated components for proper dimensions, alignment, and workmanship.

Install fabricated structures and components at construction or industrial sites.

Carry out basic grinding, finishing, cleaning, and surface-preparation work.

Assist with loading, unloading, shifting, and positioning materials and fabricated components.

Work with construction workers, welders, fitters, supervisors, and other site personnel.

Follow work instructions, drawings, measurements, and project specifications.

Maintain tools, machinery, and equipment in safe working condition.

Identify damaged materials, defective welds, or fabrication issues and report them to the supervisor.

Follow PPE requirements and site health and safety procedures.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Assist with general construction and labor activities when required.

Perform other duties assigned by the Site Supervisor or Foreman.
