Boiler Operator

Operate and monitor boilers, burners, pumps, valves, and related equipment.

Start up, shut down, and adjust boiler systems according to operating procedures.

Monitor pressure, temperature, water levels, fuel consumption, and other operating parameters.

Conduct routine inspections and identify abnormal conditions or equipment issues.

Maintain proper boiler water levels and support water-treatment procedures.

Perform regular cleaning, lubrication, and basic preventive maintenance.

Record operating readings, fuel usage, maintenance activities, and equipment conditions.

Respond promptly to alarms, leaks, pressure variations, and other operational issues.

Follow established safety procedures when handling fuel, steam, chemicals, and boiler equipment.

Coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs and equipment servicing.

Ensure compliance with workplace safety, environmental, and boiler operating regulations.

Maintain a clean and organized boiler room and surrounding work area.

Report equipment faults, safety hazards, and maintenance requirements to supervisors.

Perform other duties related to boiler and utility operations as assigned.
