Auto Electrician

Inspect and diagnose vehicle electrical and electronic faults.

Repair and maintain batteries, alternators, starters, wiring, fuses, relays, and lighting systems.

Install, repair, and replace electrical components and wiring.

Troubleshoot ignition, charging, starting, and electrical control systems.

Diagnose and repair vehicle sensors, switches, gauges, and electronic control systems.

Use diagnostic tools and testing equipment to identify electrical problems.

Perform electrical repairs on heavy vehicles and equipment when required.

Install accessories such as lights, alarms, cameras, horns, and other electrical components.

Check battery condition, charging systems, and electrical connections.

Inspect wiring for damage, loose connections, short circuits, and corrosion.

Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance activities.

Follow workshop safety procedures and manufacturer recommendations.

Keep tools and work areas clean and properly maintained.

Coordinate with mechanics and other maintenance personnel to resolve vehicle issues.

Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
